My Hidden Gods series:

This series is best classified as explicit historical fantasy, since I’ve laid it against history but introduced all sorts of fantastical elements which exist in our world as mythology. I wanted to create a “shapeshifter” character which was nothing like the werewolf trope which has become prevalent among the genre. The complete opposite would be a plant shifter—but how? That’s where Yggdrasil, the Worlds Tree, comes in. Add an autistic special interest in world history and Hidden Gods came to life.

This project started as an attempt to write sex-positive queer erotica and fantasy, in many historical settings, using a variety of ethnicities, body types and gender expressions. I wanted to write about it all while still linking everything together. It grew into an entire mythology, supporting world myths and enfolding them within its structure. Eventually, I plan to collect all published stories into a boxset, and the shorts will be available in an anthology. While I original published the short stories with Forbidden Fiction Publications, I have since republished them myself through Kindle Direct Publishing on Amazon.

Eventually, there will be six novels and many short stories, forming an arc from 60 to 2020 Common Era. There MIGHT be a follow-up series but that is not confirmed at this time. We’ll see. I have a day job to pay the bills so…
